Mt Kosciuszko
Ophir Reserve -
Siding Spring / Coonabarabran
2800Km, total driving time >30 hrs
Blue Lake, Pink lake, 12 Apostles

Saltwater bag and size limits https://share.google/X8ejuq0rKtJZJhNB3

Some gum trees are less annoying than others. When you are living in the bush, trees are part of the space. When you are young, you are more naive and fearless.
Now it is best to leave it to the young and strong to put in their time and effort. I am happy to enjoying my time to walk and admire the social vibes.

and none will say anything negative about what you look, what you wear, how you live...There is much less social pressure for us retirees.
Though we like gardening and hope to be our life long vocation. We don't like big tall trees though and gate BIG GUM TREES!! We have hired arborists to take down some rubbish trees. It is a specialised and dangerous job not for the fainted heart. - #1236 [JCR33], 25-12-29 07:04I had my trees cut by specialists and approved by local council. You must appreciate the skills and strength of these people, they know what and where to cut, consider the branch or trunk can be long and heavy.

Most of us from HK would love to have our space to enjoy the nature.
After living in the bush for many years, I must say it is worth it.
However, if you live in an established area where you have old trees and close to the house, it should be considered a hazard and try to council approval to have it trimmed or removed. My neighbour's tree was so close to the house and the damage was massive and expensive to have it removed and repaired after ti fell.

Very nice weather down south, even Sydney is quite cold considering we are in Summer. Beautiful lavender farm and the fragrance is so calming and tranquillising. I love it. Still remember when I did my garden a few years back, I picked to have it as part of my landscape, together with wisteria and rosemary. I love the French lavender which has a stronger fragrance if you rub it with your fingers. After it has blossomed, I cut and hang/box them for indoor displays.

I had a steel pergola built for the wisteria as it can be strong and destroy any timber frames.
