While visiting our son in Hull we also did something with him to watch EUTS (Everything Under The Sun) in Hull Minster on 12/04/2025.
EUTS is a group of professionals(teachers, classical singer, engineer and photographer) who love music from different groups. They just pursuit their dreams, like Springroll's son and Co.
That night they called their performance as "Pink Floyd Project" and not a Pink Floyd Tribute act. They always move on to different projects(bands).
It was an outstanding performance from these individuals, more than my expectation.
I have seen many Pink Floyd tribute bands, including the so called "better than the real PF, the Australian Pink Floyd Show". I must say EUTS is among the best.
They are so good that the official laser man who does the laser for the Pink Floyd is giving his free service for tonight show!!!!
These videos were taken on the night with my iPhone and the result wasn't too shabby either.
I can tell you that I can't wait for their next "project" because they are doing my favourite band "Radiohead"!!!

I wonder if this incident is another example of HK officials being OTT again, the result of 寧左勿右。
This over reaction is totally unnecessary as she is visiting her son and newly born grandson as a personal trip. Deporting her has no real goal for CCCP, nor the HK Government. It could only intensify the hostile relationship between the UK and China.
That said, Starmer wouldn’t do anything for sure. - #764 [george1977v5i.], 25-04-13 15:25

I totally agree with the John Simpson that "Critics like this believe Trump is both breathtakingly vain, and amazingly thin-skinned at the same time. As a result, the appointees who surround him, people like Elon Musk and JD Vance, perhaps think that their position depends entirely on how much they praise him and back his views."
Does it sound familiar?

共慘黨過燶年,香港人過龍年。 - #760 [fotheringay], 24-02-11 07:02Hi Kenny,
Thank you for posting the facebook link. I don't normally celebrate Lunar New Year though my wife keeps putting up some little decorations and complaining me of not helping. all these years.
Thanks heaven that she finally stops doing it this year!!
In fact I don't do for other traditional Chinese festivals either.
First day of "The Year Of Loong" would just be any other days to me.
I did have a laugh of this notion and sharing with my wife and I have to explain to her why.

Today is the 1st day of the Lunar New Year. This year is the year of the Dragon, the only mythological sign in the Chinese Zodiac. The Dragon is welcomed for its power, nobility, honour, luck, and success. In terms of strengths, those born in a Year of the Dragon are thought to be natural leaders, who, like the best soldiers of the British Army, are knowledgeable, ambitious, adventurous, kind hearted, generous and brave.
Performing the impressive “The Year Of The Dragon” by British composer Philip Sparke, are musicians from British Army Band Tidworth, who together with the Royal Corps of Army Music also attempt their very best Cantonese Chinese New Year greetings.
Happy New Year!

- #755 [fotheringay], 24-01-26 00:36Earlier I posted a warning post in a thread about Tapentadol.
A new member registered in this month the 12th had advocated the opioid-type painkiller called Tapentadol.
I never heard this drug in the UK so I goggled it. It's called Palexia in the UK and it's prescribed drug only.
However, this guy was promoting this drug and posted a link that you can buy online!!!
This is so dangerous that I have to post a message to warn the webmaster about the seriousness of this thread and it should be taken down with immediate effect.
Luckily after a short while it was removed from R33.
How could this happen? What has happened to this platform(R33) ?
Don't get me wrong that I am policing this forum, not a single bit. That said this was a very dangerous post and potentially could cause serious consequences to the public.
I need to do something.
I am not pointing my finger to any particular individual but who on earth would have this kind of mentality to publicly posting such message? - #754 [ich], 24-01-25 22:48#753
