I've several of Bill Evans CD. This is one of his best. Someone said if Dave Brubeck is saint of piano jazz, then Bill Evans would be the evil.

This piece was recorded in 50s but it doesn't mean bad. My version is bought from internet and it is remastered by Sony and is manufactured in Germany.

The SACD version is now available in HK. Every one love piano jazz can take a try on this CD

This is indeed a great and classic piece from the Trio and I especially enjoy the ambience of this live recording and the great bass work of Scott LaFaro, who was tragically killed in I believe a car accident shortly after. I snapped the SACD up as soon as it became available from Acoustic Sound earlier this year and loved it ever since.

我覺得依隻碟真係Remaster 得好好... 好到聽上去好似近期錄音咁..! (除了係有小小si si 聲係底...係差唔多40年前錄音..好難避免..) 比起以前什麼版.. (XRCD.. K2.. 等等) 都要靚得多...而且曲方面係Jazz 入面Classic 中的Classic..

唔使諗.. 一定買..! 仲有其他Jazz Classic會俾Audio Analogue Remaster 出SACD.. 一定要留意..! (暫時公佈左16 隻..)
