yardbirds
- #43 [fotheringay], 16-04-16 22:29

- #44 [koalaau], 16-04-16 22:37Lynyrd Skynyrd!

blues traveler
- #47 [fotheringay], 16-04-16 23:10Thanks.
My most treasured records would be a set of 4 records of the Led Zep "BBC Sessions" Classic Records factory White label Test Pressings.
There were 20 sets and some were destroyed as I believe.
I also have a No.47 The Beatles "White Album".

Thanks.
Due to getting older and lazier about travelling these days I hardly go to big concerts far away but local gigs only.
These are some, among many, I have seen in the past and the last one was in 2006 when Sigor Ros performed in our local Latitude Festival.
Just told by youtube I have to remove the songs from Sigor Ros in my video since copy right breach in Hong Kong.
This is part of "Desert Disc" collection I am creating for my own memory before I lost my hearing completely(hearing on my left year and deaf on my right ear).
Having said I would keep exploring new bands, though I feel more mellow and relaxed one, as music, Rock, is part of me.

- #56 [fotheringay], 16-04-18 01:56Mr. Jones was the song leading me to meet my current wife.
Mr' Jones has just been released as a single I instantly thought of The Band.
I used to go to a pub where people have a pint of beer and if you wish you could play your music as well.
One night a friend of mine bought with a friend with her. She played the guitar and this girl sang Mr. Jones.
Well, the rest is history.
This is a personal recording, extreme high quality, of The Counting Crows Live in Italy in 1993. It was quite early live recording and I still don't know where my friend got it from. Mind you he was working as a roadie for a concert organiser back then so I presume the source. - #57 [fotheringay], 16-04-18 02:35"Rod stewart
係 soft rock 嗎"
You could say that, at least in some period.
He was deeply associated with Mod culture and though been a member of Jeff Beck Group and Faces, I see him more a R&B person.
With his distinctive raspy singing voice he does best with some ballad type music and perhaps this is why you think of soft rock, AOR or even Pop Rock. - #58 [fotheringay], 16-04-18 04:16
Their 1971 performance in the UK.
"Incendiary live show sees the post-Sweetheart Byrds fly" as suggested by the Record Collector magazine.
The Byrds should have finished by then if not for Roger McGuinn.
Brilliant guitar by Clarence White who was killed two years later in a car accident. - #59 [koalaau], 16-04-18 09:48#56
- 下一頁 (3 of 17)

The tragic death of three Lynyrd Skynyrd members was great loss to many southern rock fans.
A trademark song on live.
