Indeed my neck is now very long waiting for these reissues in SACD - #3 [Gryphon-Freak], 02-09-27 15:13我覺得依隻碟真係Remaster 得好好... 好到聽上去好似近期錄音咁..! (除了係有小小si si 聲係底...係差唔多40年前錄音..好難避免..) 比起以前什麼版.. (XRCD.. K2.. 等等) 都要靚得多...而且曲方面係Jazz 入面Classic 中的Classic..

(暫時公佈左16 隻..) - #2 [breadvan], 02-09-27 13:01This is indeed a great and classic piece from the Trio and I especially enjoy the ambience of this live recording and the great bass work of Scott LaFaro, who was tragically killed in I believe a car accident shortly after. I snapped the SACD up as soon as it became available from Acoustic Sound earlier this year and loved it ever since.
Great stuff. - #1 [wally], 02-09-26 21:53I've several of Bill Evans CD. This is one of his best. Someone said if Dave Brubeck is saint of piano jazz, then Bill Evans would be the evil.
This piece was recorded in 50s but it doesn't mean bad. My version is bought from internet and it is remastered by Sony and is manufactured in Germany.
The SACD version is now available in HK. Every one love piano jazz can take a try on this CD

Waltz for Debby (1964 album)
Waltz for Debby is a 1964 album in English and Swedish by the Swedish singer Monica Zetterlund and an American jazz trio led by pianist Bill Evans. Evans met Zetterlund on a tour of Sweden and was "bowled over" by her EP recording of "Waltz for Debby" with a Swedish text titled "Monicas vals". Evans's manager, Helen Keane, set up a recording session for them at the end of the Swedish tour
