- #2 [mrbeansr], 09-08-27 17:531955 My first motorcycle:
Indian 250 cc
Indian was an American brand in the 30-40's at par with Hardley Division in producing big bikes. Later it out-sourced to Italy to make this 250 cc model.
1956 my second bike Sunbeam (1949 model)
This was a shaft-driven British bike with a floating engine fully enclosed on rubber-mount. Super quiet and comfortable.
1957 Norton 350cc single cyclinder.
1958 Norton Dominator 88 500cc twin.
1960 Vespa GS 200cc
(to be continued) - #3 [leochan], 09-08-27 17:57嘩!你 D 車都好勁下啵。

Around 1968:
Kawasaki 550cc 3 cylinders 2 strokes, one of the super bikes at that time. Most of the super bikes then were British 650cc. There was a British 1,000cc Aerial Square 4 (4 cylinders).
1975-1985:
Susuki 50cc, Honda 75cc and Vespa 150. - #5 [Parker75], 09-08-27 21:23mrbeansr hing,

- #9 [mrbeansr], 09-08-28 00:09"愈玩愈細部"
For riding to work and city run-about, very convenient.

mrbeansr,
In 1955 when the great majority people in HK were barely able to keep ends meet. Owning a motorbike at 18 must in 1955 one must have an extraordinary family background. I own my first motorbike, a 10-year old used Italian 4-stroke bike (not Ducati), in 1972 when I was 18 too. $600 at that time, paid by my late father when life was still very difficult. I was apologetic to my late father.. - #12 [rcwy], 09-08-28 07:53I owned my first bike in 1955 when I was 18.

RD 250 Yamaha
