locknut. The disposer is clamped on the drain tube.

Don't know whether this is garbage disposer is useful wrt Chinese cuisine, lots of seashells and bones. Only for vegan having lots of fruit peel and cereal?

Copper pipe, use spanner due to hexagonal locknut,easy to remove due to little rust. Iron pipe(if still there), use grinder(fitted with cutting disc, not grinding disc) to cut.

Use pliers(with teeth) only when the fittings are cylindrical and large, rare in HK except for fire services where iron pipe is still permissible. There is chained one for even larger pipe, mislaid somewhere.

Minisforum should be a good brand, HK dealer is renowned Hornington. Bought 2xGeekom i5, 32G/1T mini-PC's locally with 4 years' warranty. Larger monitor and versatile keyboard/mouse(free set for the first delivery) For upgrading, don't know whether it would affect warranty due to case opening. Go for notebook only if you must bring it outdoor.

SSD storage device and SD card should be good buy, though without warranty.(yet returnable till end of Jan 2024) Enclosure Gen 2x2 from Taobao is already HK 300 but you can buy Crucial X8 1T (c/w enclosure) on Amazon at HK 380, wife was happy. Fast sequential read/write at 1000M. Faster than the said DIY enclosure with older gen 3 SSD(itself already 3500M), around 700M only. Need generation 4 SSD to maximize the enclosure capability.(2000M) USB4 enclosure from Zike can read speed 3000M(not thunderbolt) but very pricey, HK600. Still think external SSD to be sluggish?
