well, found some strip scenes, all in all, what an effort!

it says, this flick is part of a trilogy... interesting, will dig in to find out.

Watched this flick online a while back on paid subscription service.

I rather felt it's more politically-inclined rather than family/teenage/coming-of-age film, as it tells a case of refugee-status family residing in Japan facing deportation involving the entire "alien" family; and there isn't any miracle in the end, however the father chooses to act "king sacrifice" as opposed to "pawn sacrifice", which effectively grants the rest of younger family members a right of abode due to them underage, in that the Japanese authority by law on basis of humanitarianism (I guess) prohibits the authority to deport the minors.

The protagonist, the "mix" as in #258, portrays a kurdish girl but is definitely reluctant to follow the Kurdish traditions in many instances, in favour of living a more free-spirited life in a place like Japan. She avoids to socialize with the Kurdish community of same refugee status, hopeful to become a teacher in an ordinary grammar school, and be a normal person courting with a boy she has a crush in her age.

The film, in a way, tells illegal refugee problems in Japan, is a predicament to Japanese authority between humanitarianism and deportation.

小眾文青電影, 純粹想講個 mix 真係好靚.
其實套戲都係言之有物, 同埋首主題曲都好好聽.

電影講述了業餘歷史學家 Phillipa Langley 女士的真實故事，她發現理查三世不是篡位國王，謀殺侄子以獲得王位，駝背和仇恨，至此在一個世紀後由莎士比亞描繪（"this is the winter of our discontent", "my kingdom for a horse"）。

Phillipa Langley 繼續尋找真正的 Richard。

一個真實的故事，講得很好。

電影邀請你繼續閱讀一件引人入勝的事情，珍視一個幾乎獨自取得如此成就的"正常"女人的熱情和工作，重新評估一位國王和他在莎士比亞著名作品之外的整個統治。

為了充實情節，他們加入了 Harry Lloyd as Richard III，作為 Philippa 的幻影出現。 我實際上認為這是電影中最好的部分，可以進一步發展。多一些這樣就好了。

不少評論對這部電影的批評很嚴厲。

但不能說為什麼, 我覺得是一出好電影。

這是一部普通的德國女音樂作曲家兼指揮家傳記片。但角色是虛構出來的沒有真其人。

Cate Blanchett 演譯有深度性格一如以往無令觀眾失望。

其次它不適合爆米花觀眾，對西方古典音樂有了解或感興趣的人可能會喜歡它，因為對巴赫，貝多芬，莫扎特等的討論很多。一般觀眾可能會感到無聊。

這裡有某種自我意識和傲慢的藝術感覺。

在緩慢的開始之後，敘述了大約 40 分鐘才能加快步伐，然後劇情會稍微活躍起來。

對於普通觀眾來說，這不是很有趣的電影，反之會很津津樂道。
