Yes, only minor improvement, but not 1.75 times improvement
> > > > 睇來都係飲平野抵d.
Absolutely. Either go dirt cheap for maximum price-to-performance-to-enjoyment ratio, or go all out to obsenely expensive: No need to meddle in mid-range.

I highly recommend Lagavulin 16 years, It's like smoke bacon. My obsolutly most favorite whiskey from Islay.
Do you know that the best whiskey reviewer on youtube is a guy from Hong Kong? - Micheal Lam he is the best! - #92 [devilcoach], 08-12-29 22:23Lagavulin 16 years 咩價錢?

- #94 [hkrainman], 08-12-30 10:48I think about HK$800 -900.
BTW o man, if that's Whit Horse, it's prbably quite sweet like many down market scotish blend. - #95 [justice], 08-12-30 13:38o man sir
Hong goods from the 80's.
Nice blended Scotch - not sweet at all!
I can assure you that your bottle is better than 今時今日出產的 Chivas Regal Royal Salute!!
Lucky you. Cheers!! - #96 [o man], 08-12-30 14:37justice,hkrainman,

- #99 [dafiiid], 08-12-31 00:54Recently bought a few Glenmorangies, including the new original, Quinta Ruban, Nectar D'OR and 18 yr, since i got good price for them.
Just finished a bottle of Quinta Ruban, although it may taste quite light at the beginning, be the finish is quite complex and syrupy. Overall quite good for the money.
Tried quite a few brands while i was in the UK, mainly 12 yrs and some 18 since I normally share with friends, including Laphroaig, Glenlivet, highland park, glenfiddich, glenmorangie and macallan, I think I prefer glenmorangie and macallan's house flavour myself. The old version Glenmorangie 15 yrs and sherry oak version were the best value for money, for the complex flavour and how easy it is to let them flow throw through your throat, in my opinion. Unfortunately price have shoot up for the new glenmorangies.
Planning to buy some 25yr Macallan to try from DF if I manage to find some frd to help me. - #100 [weilong], 09-01-01 16:172009 la,
