- #1702 [fotheringay], 24-09-26 13:58I don't think there is gap between the lug and the end cap. The end cap sits in nicely with a slightly stepped down design, not level with the lugs.
I am not sure it is anything to do with scratch deterrent or other ideas.

我有幾隻陳年King Seiko, 一直仍尋找Grand Seiko, 耐何舊嘅同新嘅一樣都係咁死貴！
咁精工係2021年重新推出King Seiko復古系列，定係介乎Grand Seiko 與 Presage 之間。
間中亦會出特別版，舊年2023年係精工錶110周年，King Seiko出咗嚟隻叫” The Kameido “ 又叫” Kameido-Kikko 亀戶-亀甲” “ Kamejima- 亀島” or “ Turtle Island”。
因為隻表面dial 用上亀甲pattern 壓制，深渴色，十足龜殼咁。
我自己就鐘意嚟個放散由外深至內淺的設計，當然喜愛是很個人嘅。
大家點睇呢？

Kintaro Hattori, originally repairing and selling watches and clocks, made the first Japanese wristwatch, Laurel , in 1913, so technically 110 years ago(2023).
But it wasn't until 1924 did SEIKO officially carry the name SEIKO, so 100th Anniversary in 2024.
The Laurel has Red 12 mark so the Presage also has the Red 12.
The first Seiko has Black 12 mark so also Black in 2024.
I believe I bought that first Seiko from a street seller in Cat Street in the early 80's, just a few hundred HK$. It was not in good working order, kind of stop and go so I put it a side and eventually disappeared completely.
