Indeed....why am I having The Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel in my head???
Ben, don't given up woodcrafting and perhaps you could make some excotic wood panels for some of gears(not necessary Hi-Fi or cameras)
最後修改時間: 2022-07-25 00:29:51 - #5700 [BenYC], 22-07-24 20:48I actually just went on to ebay. Zeiss 300/4 is amazingly cheap (hkd 1700 or so for such big lens and many to choose from). Now thinking if I can somehow add an eyepiece and turn it into a telescope. This is how low life I am.
最後修改時間: 2022-07-24 20:51:20 - #5699 [BenYC], 22-07-24 20:45Hifi is no longer for me. Hope I can do better in taking pictures second time around.
- #5698 [JCR33], 22-07-24 20:39Light and shadow, sight and sound, these are always mesmerising better than knitting
最後修改時間: 2022-07-24 20:40:48 - #5697 [fotheringay], 22-07-24 20:35I do know one famous British Olympics Gold Medalist male diver who could knit well!
Sewing?
Ha….ha…..
Seriously, any past time if helping to relax just do it.
Collecting vinyl has long been one for me. Going to charity shops, car boot sales or local secondhand record shops, especially chatting with them, has been going on a long time for me. - #5696 [JCR33], 22-07-24 20:33Mine are quite popular, my friends always ask for more...

最後修改時間: 2022-07-24 20:30:43 - #5691 [BenYC], 22-07-24 19:47Actually, I always like small cameras due to laziness. If I need to take photos for gatherings or short trips, most likely I will still use rx100.
Back when I was in my younger days, I did not mind carrying 20lbs of gears and tripod around all the time but those days are long gone.
I put aside photography as a hobby for many years. These days, I wanted to see if can restart it as kids are getting old enough to not entertain me. Previous interests in hifi is long gone. Carpentry also reached a dragging stage.
I need to find new things to do. Maybe I show also consider knitting....
