暫時香港串流服務都唔開放, 只可以用自家app播放.

想問各ROON用家,我都打算想進一roon行例,但係我部DAC唔係roon ready,咁有無問題呢?

同埋個roon endpoint我打算用raspberry pi USB去DAC,有無問題呢?

Roon Ready is only for DAC or player with a network port (e.g. Lumin).

If you do not have a network port in your DAC, do not worry about Roon Ready.

A lot of people use Pi so I believe most of their setups work fine. A few ran into speed problem for high sample rate (only if you care about high sample rate) due to shared Ethernet/USB in hardware before Pi 4.

My standard recommendation for Roon Core is NUC8i7BEH with no less than 8GB RAM, no less than 128GB m.2 SSD for Roon database, and a 2.5" drive for music in an Akasa Plato X8 fanless case.

For Chinese music, I heard the same complaint before.

After Sept. 21, 2020, new users can no longer enable "Uncertified" Roon Ready devices.

(The whole Lumin product line is Roon Ready certified.)
