- #2 [homan8577], 22-10-30 11:55有無人知?
- #3 [hahayanyan], 22-10-30 12:13there may be no above average Indoor Antenna , they all preform very similar
there is also no 易裝 or not 易裝, as it is just plug and play
I use 5 kind of Indoor Antenna
they are all the same...............same means if the location is super weak , they all bad, even with a boaster , if the location having reasonable not too weak..then they all the same
some with USB powered boaster too
just get some taobao for indoor..
u may start with T shape and a Single Pole Dipole and get a bigger gain ..why not , as some are only 5db,. some are 12 db
they are better choice... lets say u live at a low rise area and tall high up within a building... , those Anteanna shop will tell you which one may be more suitable
some can just blu tak on to the window.. ( those T ) etc..
u talk about 易裝, u want get a small Omi one for indoor ? otherwise there is really nothing to install

- #7 [hahayanyan], 22-10-31 10:48hi mcc
never try DX............what kind of equipment we need?
there seem not much choices for indoor antenna - #8 [mcc_2001], 22-10-31 11:41FM radio DX means the capability to receive a broadcast that is far far away from your country. A list of radios that have DX functions is available on web regarding their performance. Perhaps refer below introduction first. It's a hobby activity nowaday.

DX Seem a fun hobby, thx
What antenna u use for your radio hobby?
I enjoy FM radio listening in a casual way, while I am In Hong Kong, listen to 881,903, rthk 1&4 at different time of the day..
When I lived at Clearwater bay area.. I almost no need for an antenna too, without it some station is ok.. Or just a simple wire, then most station were full
Now somewhere at Sai Kung, I do need a simple dipole or a T wire, never get a full signal but no noise
i packed most of my nicer FM tuner, today i am using a cheap Old SONY ST-jx3s... super sensitive and good enough for casual listening... if anyone want to listen to some FM..once while they are at the 2nd market for only hkd300.... great..........

- #11 [hahayanyan], 22-10-31 12:52I have that too.. By far a better one...
It costed me more than rmb 200. May be cheaper or even more now
最後修改時間: 2022-10-31 12:52:49 - #12 [mcc_2001], 22-10-31 14:15This one is better due to it's vertical polarization that is aligned with the one of transmission antenna in HK. To achieve best result, you need to tilt an angle which is perpendicular to the field direction of radiation. For some transmission stations, circular polarization antenna is required.
- #13 [homan8577], 22-11-02 19:31thanks for all the useful and detailed contribution. My location is Yuen Long, and in my apartment, I got poor signal for TV. People use big antenna for TV reception. I'm not sure how much u can tell about FM reception based on TV reception strength.
I've tried using small , portable FM radio inside my apartment. Reception is bad, I need to place the radio next to windows to get better (still not good) reception. Since I live on the first floor of a village house, maybe my low altitude makes reception difficult.
Based on all these info, what would you guys suggest I should buy? I am going to get a sensitive FM tuner such as Magnum Dynalab or Marantz. - #14 [homan8577], 22-11-02 19:49
2022-11-02 20:14:53 - #16 [LaLaLam], 22-11-02 21:50#13, 14, The big loop antenna you suggested is for SDR with wide bandwidth (100KHz - 180MHz) and is definitely not suitable for FM Radio (88-108MHz) due to the antenna gain and effectiveness. The involved antenna is better to align with transmission antenna's polarization that is supposed to be vertical or circular polaraization as the pics shown below.
- #17 [rcywong], 22-11-02 22:09Buy the one shown in #10. Or diy a wire as the same length 98cm is good enough.

they are ok.. too
turn them around... 3D, u will find the best position
