小喇叭易吹的,大喇叭吹甩肺。 - #80 [CSHINGYAU], 18-11-19 16:46易唔易推, 好決定在喇叭分音器設計,但大喇叭一般會效率高啲.

- #76 [ck1357], 08-11-07 22:34hi,
so medium size may suitbale for me...!
seems need to try and see...!! - #75 [faileung], 08-11-07 21:43hi,
for 15"woofer in a small room , sometimes the bass may be too much. some people may not like that feeling.
they may not have many problem . if the crossover frequency is low, like 200Hz -250Hz. because of bass got no 指向性. we may not feel much problem even place very near side wall. as you said , the tweeter/midrange still got 2ft from side wall. the sound may not be bad. - #74 [ck1357], 08-11-06 22:04Hi, C-hing told me most japanese people just play vocal, so not big issue for them of have good sound field. I don't know about that.
my experience with bookshelf, I try to place it as far as possible (close to side wall) + toe in, the effect is "wide" but not "3D" now I place the tweeter about 15" from side wall + toe in, is the compromise in my narrow space!
I just wonder how they put huge speakers in small rooom. I think tube amp can help them to soften the hi freq... or they use "paper board" wall construction???
some local hifi player also use huge spks as well, most of them use tube amp. it should be dead-Q. some photos post in R33, can see their spks very close to side wall...unfortunately I don't have friend using huge monster, that I don't know the soundstage character!! - #73 [faileung], 08-11-06 17:36hi, I believe you may try and listen. may be the sound got no problem. just too much worry from me.
actually I am also interest in Japanese's sound. normally they put just in front of the front wall without gap. I am also wonderful the deep of the soundstage. as normally we need to use the front wall as reflection for hear(or feel) the deepness of the soundstage. - #72 [ck1357], 08-11-06 10:42hi thanks your advise.
sometime really don't know how/why Japanese people play huge size JBL in small room, they got fine 立場定位??
I have an idea : for huge spks, say 24" width, the Hi unit still in centre, means 12" from side, if the spks put around 0.5ft from side wall, then the tweeter still 1.5ft from side wall, not much different to bookshelf spks... does it means they got similar effect as bookshelf? and take the advantage to put cabinet closer to side that bass be stronger...and thus well balance for tweeter, mid-horn & large woofer speakers.
anything wrong my point view? - #71 [faileung], 08-11-06 00:04hi,
if you got 9.5ft from side to side. I believe you may try 6-7" woofer than 12" woofer. too close to side wall.
the first reflection from side wall may not be very good.
I dont think there is much problem for midrange but treble is another problem - #70 [ck1357], 08-11-05 19:43is this possible to place horn speaker in 窄地方 within 9.5 ft. since most horn speaker got very big woofer and cabinet size very big!!
any problem if the speakers :
too close apart?
too close to side wall?
any 共鳴 problem due to strong Mid range? - #66 [westpower], 08-11-04 13:56anybody use this one , not expensive US235/pair
- #65 [dynax], 08-11-04 12:08當然係80W會好D, but very depend on the SP & Amplifier design.
係hi-fi既market上80W好細架咋, 宜家D新amp動不動就200-300W - #64 [dynax], 08-11-04 12:03如果有得簡當然係簡Harbeth la....
