I am waiting impatiently to receive your feedback on the performance of these exotic transformers. Please keep in mind that after a couple of hours you will experience fluctuations in the quality of the sound, this is absolutely normal and you should not be anxious. These cores require at least 20 playing hours in order to obtain their ferromagnetic properties but you will experience from the first moment their uniqueness.

This is not true! I am very experienced with these fantastic tubes, they are hands down the best current production models and maybe some of the best ever manufactured! With 1605 you should expect around 20 Watts of Class A1 power at a maximum. Regarding the output transformer, for higher power output I propose 3.5kOhms of loading and for higher fidelity, the best option is to use 5kOhms output transformer. For this purpose, I propose the cores with 16 sq cm of cross sectional area, capable of producing up to 32 Watts or RMS power, down to 20Hz at no more than 14kGauss of maximum flux density. Both 0,23mm and 0,1mm cores are stocked.

因為我正在了解EML1605的過程中也見到一些外國用家的評論類似"being transistor-like"
像晶體管般的聲音,因為是近期生產的管,沒有與60年代之前的物料.

然而連整流也用上銀,也是在使用純銀導線時没有想到的。

上一次试就是欠更换一支電阻,就使到其中對interstage的表現失準。基於core的物料特性,我相信是有些地方出問題。
还是弄清楚才心息。
結果是表現更佳的也是由更好的核心物料而來!
也更支持了一個觀點:物料主宰了音頻變壓器的質素! - #76 [michael@33], 16-05-06 22:50除了WE300B,EML1605外,當然少不了大衆化的祖國出品啦。
EML1605在與300B相若的工作電压下(屏極對地470V DC,陰極對地55V DC,陰極對地电阻為1K).
它輸出功率也比300B大些少。若果outpput transformer有15W,其實可以直接代用於300B胆機上。
我聽到它的音效是比祖國300B胆要好声,而且也與64年期WE300B極接近。
而且EML1605當将工作屏压再提高達580V DC,屏流提高到120ma時,它比300B胆輸出功率大一倍。
所以玩300B單端并聯不防玩下呢支1605.
而當EML1605工作在580V屏压,120ma屏流時,它明顯比300B更有質感,中氣十足。彈跳力300B係無得比。
現在我是以足夠推動300B胆的推動級來共用試EML1605,但EML1605是可以用一支直熱管(例如EML20AM)來推動就可以。當在這線路架構下,這支EML1605的表現或者比300B更好。這是下一步的試驗。
在未改变現時的推動級時,还想與更早年期的西電300B比較。
吾知有冇朋友拿64年前的WE300來試下呢?
