I think if you are over 35 you probably have enjoyed those music. Sadly taste moves on and I believe the majority would just listen to Canton Pop these days. To the very few, I think, would just dig out their old vinyl occasionally just to remind their younger days.
Mind you they are still very much my regular as I don't have the opportunity to listen to Canton Pop. - #7 [chinaimamn], 11-02-24 23:21...............

題外話:
唔知各位師兄,有無人懷念VINCIE CLARK + FEARGAL SHARKEY果首NEVER NEVER?:)
細佬唔係電子樂迷,過不過呢首野真係好聽。

Hi yeewaishun,
VINCIE CLARK + FEARGAL SHARKEY果首NEVER NEVER?:
=============================================================
They formed duo called The Assembly and "Never Never" has certainly touched many souls.
Vince Clark is still very much active in making music. When he and Moyet reformed Yazoo in 2008 I went to see them live in our local university and it was memorable.
As for Sharkey I think most will remember his "Teenage Kicks" with his first band The Undertones and the song played in John Peel's funeral in 2004. He is now the CEO of the UK Music which has overall control of the whole music industry in the UK. Quite a job from a Punker!!

How r u? Haven't talked to you for a long time. My work is getting incredibly busy. Still working mid-night (cos I didn't feel well today earlier). Your collection is so impressive, ranging from classical to pop. I really hope I could visit you one day!
I have started to rip my 80s / 90s music as well. Starting to learn some are so better than others:

I am really starting to believe LP has better mixing and production, though some 'remastered' CDs have gone the wrong compression direction, one reason explaining why some older LPs sound much better than the CDs.
I am listening to Flying Tickets - the CD sounds no good, but the songs are good. Sigh ...
I also changed to a bigger room, with ProAc Studio Tower. I guess I'll stick to them for a while. How's your room now? Must be a paradise ...
