One of my dreams is to be a Disc Jockey. I did apply the position of the Junior DJ at the "Channel 8 Disco" back to 1980's. With no doubt, I was being rejected due to my poor communication with the America DJ in English. However, this failure did not reduce my interest in Disco dance music!

I had very limited pocket money in my school time, in order to get the dance music at a low cost I rent the 45RPM single to make the tape recording for myself.

I used to be a bed room DJ for around 3 months when I was with my Denon DF-2500. And here is an old post few years ago.

I was borned in 196x so in 80s' there are tons of dance / synth pop songs avail. I like those dance remix / hottrack / disconet / ultimix etc ... And especially, Italian / Euro dance music. I still keep the 12"s under my bed. YeeHa !

Back to the old days, the DJ only use Technics turntable with one mixer for live gig. However, today ... We can use USB DJ controller and hook it up to the notebook and become a DJ. Sounds not bad huh ..

So if I have spare money and time, I'll spend around $4000-5000 to get back my DJ dream as the package contains the software + the controller then we can start making noise.

We should in the same age group! However one thing I am very different from you is that I make a big mistake to sell my 12' single back to 12 years ago! I have a few 12' single left!!!

I listened to my beloved People are People 12’ 45rpm this morning. However the disco feeling is too weak from my current audio set-up. I miss the sound from JBL loudspeaker in disco very much!

Anyhow, I feel I am 20 years younger when I move my body with this great dance music today!

Please don't let the great dance music idle!

In order to make the beat heavier, I make a boost at 15 Hz and 120 Hz with 6db and 11.5db respectively! Of course the volume is going up and stops right before the complaint from my wife! Holly Cow!
