我只是聽過ASR E1 & E1 電池板,係現今合併機王大比拼中,我相信吨T甲必入,但E1 比我聽感上音色較為冷一些,要用極品級線材大力補呇喿i!唔知道E2 電池板 D 聲又點呢????各位點睇?

ASR is a hidden giant in the world of high fidelity.

It has a really long history in making integrated amplifier.

The reason that it is not publicized or advertised, I suspect, it is just too big and shipping oversea is expensive.

But, the price of ASR is in fact not really expensive compared to other so-called high end brands.

音色較為冷一些 ? After auditing few ASR setup. For my opinion, It's quite balance not cool. May be the source problem ?????

Any brothers : ASR with JMR.Any report.

E1 battery version is not cold, it should called quiet just because it is using DC battery.

All ASR are usig warm sounding FET transistors.

I have seen the Tim Chi dealer used Sony SCD-1 as the source, certainly it is cold sounding.

The "cold" charactor is actually from the Sony SCD-1. After playing 2 months with my ASR pre. I'd say it sounds very neutral. So the charactor of the source would be reflected straightly.

If I've to say something about this preamp, I'd say:

1.) very quiet, I use horn speaker and can't hear any noise from it.
2.) 聲音很精緻, 高頻伸展very good, 動態不錯.
3.) well-balanced sound stage

Epilogue Hing, Actual I'm look speaker for match it. Target at JMR, Symphonic Line......any recommend.

I'm very happy with JBL and I think McIntosh tube is the best partner for it. I guess I'll stick on this system for pretty long time, since I've got no $$$$$.

How about your phono amp? Decided to buy a ASR?

BTW, my system is now fine-tuned. If you don't need to work tonight, come to have a drink. Call me anyway!
