- #157 [美好日子], 25-05-17 09:54曾玩過綿光買的 Mullard OC72, 當年三個半一粒, 亦等如 Mullard ECC83 價錢, 係講緊六十幾年前的事。亦於佐敦倫敦戲院鄰英光地鋪買過套件, 小黑豆 SE4010 低雜音前級黎銲, 及小老虎後級, ....那時吳松街華輝亦有套件賣, 聽講, 那肥佬老細同鴨記有關連的。 見圖那 CK722 , 勾起回憶, 那時萬里出的一本原子粒制作, 都大量用 CK722. 通街去買, 又買唔到, 今日有幸見真身。

他們 1965 年的繼任者 µA709 建立了模擬 IC 的大眾市場。
然後在 1968 年，Fairchild 的 Dave Fullagar 透過添加內部補償電容器對 LM101 進行了升級，推出了 µA741，這是有史以來最受歡迎的運算放大器。

The THD spec provide us a general idea how the amplifier performs. Lower the THD figure, the better sound it should be. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
As mentioned in the John Curl's article, the most problematic would be those high order harmonics due to distortion generated within the amplifier circuit. Every stage in an amplifier would produce some distortion that generates some harmonics. It is easy to understand that more stages the amplifier has, much more harmonics it would produce. Therefore, a very simple two stage tube amplifier should sound the best because it would have much less harmonics.
On the other hand, we need to make sure each stage shall be designed with minimal distortion to avoid excessive harmonics in numbers and magnitude.
