唔会再考慮 Sony or Panasonic OLED 了.
By the way , 手機 OLED mon 點解無呢個問題? mon 細熱量低就無事?

- #11 [phil.ng], 20-02-20 08:54Sony Panasonic 全用LG panel

LG potentially replacing burnt-in screens if you (politely) describe your problem and mention the burn-in has left you dissatisfied/less likely to buy their products going forward.
I received this informative PM from a user on this subreddit with regards to replacing the screen on burnt-in LG OLED TVs (an excerpt):
"" ...I contacted LG back then and they told me they would not be able to do anything because burn-in was considered User misuse. Upset about this we kind of just dealt with it and moved on. Then I saw this thread and gave it another try thinking the worst that could be said is no. I called them explained my problem and explained that I actually had 2 LG OLED TVs that were experiencing burn-in. One of which was in warranty still, the B6, and the other which was out of warranty, EG9600.
After submitting all my documents I got a phone call from LG notifying me that they would be replacing the screen on my B6 free of charge. I was happy and satisfied there but when I brought up my EG9600 was experiencing the same issue he asked if I mind being placed on a brief hold while he checks to see if they have a screen for it. He came back after placing me on that brief hold and told me that he had a screen and was gonna schedule to have it replaced as well! I am now locked in as a customer with LG because I know how expensive these panels are and not to mention the labor that I would have to pay to get them replaced. I wanted to share this as others may be able to benefit from giving them a call as well.
What I found that worked for me was that I threatened not to buy an LG product again because these two TVs left a sour taste in my mouth and they aren't cheap TVs. I did this however politely as possible and it seemed to win them over. For all I know however, they could've replaced it either way. I hope this helps someone else as well. I mean like I said before, the worst that can happen is they say no and you are back at square one. ""
The thread in question is an AVS forum.
If you are experiencing burn-in on a LG TV and you genuinely haven't been misusing it, then contact LG by phone/email and make your case. Worth a try!
Hope this helps and let us know how you get on.

And just before the set was finally due to go back to LG, I noticed a number of areas on the screen that showed ghostly shadows of the 4K Blu-ray’s header image. These ghosts remained visible following a number of power off/on recycles.
The good news is that I managed to remove this ghosting using the TV’s Pixel Refresh feature (explained below the main article). The bad news is that Sony’s advice on its own similar Panel Refresh feature states that ‘The Panel refresh function may affect the panel. As a reference… do not perform it more than once a year, as it may affect the usable life of the panel.”

有冇 Trade-in to QLED?
