Don't buy it!!! not just those missing parts, the headshell mounting collar is not original as well........ the knife bearing might be damaged that you cannot restore it.

upon tidy up my toys

i forgot and findout........i have quite a few turntable parts

JVC, KENWOOD, Thorens X 2.. luxman .......VPI

do not want to give them up... so i pack them today...

I already have these parts for the counter weight.

Stainless steel ring spacers and stainless steel implants.

So it could be 64g, 90g or 120g for the combination.

One set is being used now with another arm.

Another DIY Project for me.......

I used to own the SAEC WE-308 Tonearm but sold it with a turntable. I miss it a lot.

Browsing on eBay and check if there is any SAEC arms I fancy. Well, I got an offer from a Japanese seller with this incomplete WE-317.

It doesn't have the arm base, counter weight, cable, side-adjustment knobs, anti-skating and headshell. However, the arm seems in good working and cosmetic condition.

I know the counterweight is around 95g and I have these stainless steel parts which may just good enough to play with.

I can also diy the rest. Is it worth getting it for £185?

Thorens TD150, the follower of Ariston TT, Linn as also the same design at that time.

Beogram 3000 also equipped with 3-point suspension.

Finally I got to do something with the neglected Ariston RD11s and the striped-bare Rega RB300 tonarm.

The counter-weight of the Rega RB300 has long been missing so I have to make from from some surgical scraps.

The result looks like one of those from Micelle Engineering.
