- #42 [powercord], 05-10-12 22:41Yes, NAIM got its strength... rhythm, speed, clarity...
Though it is less exciting as you tend to use whole set of its product in the end!
Have anyone tried IBL speaker??? - #43 [IOU], 05-10-13 14:51同意Powercord的說法。
我而家用FA688,唔知其他Speaker的效果會如何呢。
有無人分享下呀 -
- #44 [ship310], 05-10-13 15:17hi IOU, I tried different speakers with Naim before and FA688 is not a bad choice. In my last Naim system, I use their own speakers and it is
CDS3>XPS2>282>250>Hicap>Allae
Now it is all gone. - #45 [mahi], 05-10-13 15:21any experience to share for a pair of small bookshelf for naim to use in a small room?
i use 3/5a, easy listening as always, but want to try something with more speed and high. and 688 is too pricey and seems hard to accomodate in a small room. - #46 [cwkleo], 05-10-13 15:49Naim user here.

嘩!你Naim System好正。
我都想買282/250 - #49 [ship310], 05-10-13 18:10The CDS3/XPS2, still missing it but I read from Naim web that there is going to be a new flagship CDP from Naim.
282 is a very good preamp.
I had also used CD5, CDX2, 202 and 200. - #50 [bighead], 05-10-13 18:25Hello,
I plan to send my AMP and TUNER back to NAIM for service. Do you know what's the quick cheapest way to send to them?
Thanks. - #51 [IOU], 05-10-13 18:51ship310
New Naim CDP....
好貴好貴
282/250對我來說,已是終極目標啦!
希望快點儲到錢 - #52 [ship310], 05-10-13 21:20bighead big brother, you can try to contact Naim through their forum (I did before and they are very nice and helpful); however, I do believe they will ask you to contact Radar. Actually, it is very crucial to do the recap.
IOU>282/250 is very good but after owning them for 2 years, time for a change and the next step is way way beyond I can afford...... - #53 [IOU], 05-10-13 22:27Ship310
想問威達而家幾多銀呢 - #54 [highlander], 05-10-13 22:45stardust hind
i am interested in buying naca5 cable.
but my friend told me that amp/cd/spk must have the run-in already. So that it is ready for trying other cables. Is my friend right? Therefore if the price of the naca5 cable is economical.i will buy it for storage. - #55 [bighead], 05-10-13 23:10ship310, thanks for your sharing.
highlander, NACA-5 is a 'must' for NAIM AMP. Only latest models, like NAIT5i, are more user friendly to other speaker cable. NACA-5 also needs to take time to run-in. Go ahead la! - #56 [powercord], 05-10-13 23:30the other option is black link by Avondale
- #57 [ely], 05-10-13 23:35I'm an ex-Naim user ....
CD5 + Flatcap II
CDX2, 202, HiCap, NAPSC, 250, Allae ... - #58 [ship310], 05-10-14 12:22Hi IOU hing, what kind of cost from Radar you are referring to? If for re-cap, I had no idea as most of my previous owned equipment is new and I think you only need to do recap every 5 or 8 years.
Naca-5 is a must for Naim system and considering its low cost, I do not think it is worth to try anything else.
I also tried to order Naim US cable direct and the result is quite good. I still have a 90% new Wiremold US plug (9 outlets) power bar at home that is recommended by Naim US. If any brother is interested, please email me, my target price is around $400-500. - #59 [steamboy], 05-10-14 12:39ship310 hing
Do you have the US plug cable for naim also?
Compare using org plug and the US plug cable
+ Wiremold US plug, which sounds better?
thx! - #60 [ship310], 05-10-14 12:48I am not sure if I got any left as they are really cheap (like $150 HKD order direct from US) and I put them everywhere.
The sound is more open when compared to using UK plug. Before I sold my system, I was using all US naim cable with the wiremold. - 下一頁 (3 of 316)
