It's a bit strange that you need an isolation transformer, unless there is really strong RF interference and ground loop. I think it is better to try star ground configuration (similar as below) for your diy project.

Sure, phono stage isolation transformer is always the best way to eliminate wide band noise.

Happy to teach us some quick and easier way to check those zero ground potential ?if unluckily..one of the earth have tiny little bit of higher potential..how high in general is too much higher ?

It appeared that you are using RCA plug for carrying signal, so it not a balanced config. With this setup, you can try to ground the shielding at one side only. However if you make multiple earth, you have to make sure they are in zero ground potential.

My diy phono cable

That is a quad core cable..with shield , and use only 1 core for positive and diagonal core for negative, and cut the jacket a little bit and pull out some screen ,the screen layer connected to that banana plug, and both ended , turntable end to the table chassis , and the other end to phono stage chassis ...

I wonder..if I make another ground link from the phono stage chassis to socket earth.....haha

如果diy phono stage, 最佳方法是當cartridge output 是balanced signal 去處理，可以參考AES48(下圖)的方法，i.e. coaxial shielding 只能通過RF signal, 對訊號的+和- 對地隔離(floated ground）. Coaxial cable shielding 兩邊必須同時接地(i.e. grounded at both side)

會唔會更好或其實冇分別 vs only use a bare wire ?

等我都做下嘅實驗，以往我做這件事情都是單純的解決hum ,沒有動機改善聲音嘅表現

試一試也無妨 by a shield cable ,希望減少有可能因為這個長度帶出來的天線效應,如果條線係1.5米長 佢有可能pick up到大空氣之中200mhz嘅噪音，但係這條 one side connected shield cable會唔會有用呢?

整左條淨地線電源線，尾直接裸線扭落個gnd扭實左
結果好聲左，明顯分離度同高分甜左，哈哈

this ground 是設計用來設計用來連接唱盤的地線

至於這個地線連接，可不可以有其他的玩法，都可以探討一下的
