至於後面就同醫管局一樣，外行管理內行，顧問多過在職醫生，都係要修理一下先得。

I am glad that you get the point of scraping the NHS England eventually.

Just allow me to make it clear that it is only the NHS England being scraped, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales and Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland remain intact.

I really wish the Government would make a clearer and detailed explanation about the change. Most public would only read the headlines without checking into details.

For years, me and many all my colleagues have submitted our opinions about the so many clipboard managers in our NHS Trusts in England, if not all the other nations, that their resources could be used on patients directly.

The Trust would pay a Band 7 or above grade to someone, medical or non-medical, to perform such role. Not much about the clinical side of admin but rather being the person who would answer a phone call from the DOH or CQC.

They may have other duties but their foremost and prior role is just that!! When my retired colleague, a Professor and Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, proposed to the Trust that he would provide a voluntary role in improving the service to the Trust, in his own leisure and unpaid. The Trust turned it down because of conflict of interest!!!

What conflict of interest?? No further clarification. Internal sources hinted that one of the clipboard women said no to the idea because of past experience. WTF!!!!

呢排，阿仔由於趕搞佢黎緊嘅音樂劇，壓力爆煲，濕疹過敏皮膚炎大爆發，星期三早上8點留 request 約 GP, 未夠9點GP 已經 call 黎，11點落到去見醫生，醫生檢查一陣已經話阿仔 condition 已經到 borderline, 再差啲就要 call hospital；即刻要開抗生素及強力抗敏藥俾佢，仲俾兩大支藥膏過佢，千叮萬囑要準時食足藥揸足膏，否則要送院。醫生跟手即時約埋下星期二，一早9點鐘返去覆診，檢查狀況有否惡化。

我真係好感謝我呢區有呢間咁好咁 responsive 嘅 GP，有咁好咁關懷細心嘅醫生同醫護人員！我知道有好多關於 NHS 醫護服務嘅不滿同投訴，但我只能夠講 maybe we are very lucky here，同時某程度亦體諒一直以來 NHS 所遇到嘅困境。。。

再睇內容，同睇多其他詳細報導，如果無理解錯，似乎係 target 精簡原本冗贅 back-office 架構，釋放資源同 re-allocate running funds 到前線，舒緩前線醫護人手不足及 overload 情況，改善待遇，增加設備投資。

睇落好似好有道理，方向正確，英國醫護的確值得更多尊重同待遇！only doubt what the Labour will really execute... @_@
