Thanks but I wouldn't bother any more.

It was never very effective with the cleaning. It was more or less just a dust removers. The actual cleaning was using an old cartridge with extra weight so it will dig out the dirts.

Which model of that broken machine
Let's see if we can find a solution. , a replacement motor or electronic control failures.. may be we can fix it

That’s exactly what my plan is.

Getting a 7L Ultrasound cleaner for £70 and getting a records spinning motor and clamp for £50 then U have a ultrasound record cleaner for £120, instead of £250 from China(may be more for import tax) or £370 from this UK guy.

The Humming Guru will cost £520 in the UK and more than £3000 for the Audio Desk.

I still have a Chinese made VPI type record cleaner but the motor died just two weeks after buying it. I have been hand spinning it for the last 15 years.

So I will use the ultrasound to clean and the crap vpi type to suck drying.

That is the plan but will it work? We soon find out.

Seem make sense to have both , that type of transformer type of ultrasonic for pre wash and final wash by basic vpi type of machine .

Has anyone tried this type? It looks like transforming a basic ultrasound cleaner with a bespoke motor to spin the records.

been hunting this toy for years but never make up the mind.

但唔敢買 驚佢好快壞 立即滔滔lost

有親身經驗，平機同貴機洗出嚟嘅音質真係有高低之分。
我有一部大陸嘅頂級機，當時買都要四、五千但洗出嚟嘅效果連第一代嘅Audiodesk都及唔上。

唔明D 洗碟機點解要咁貴, 食水咁深.

D 幾千蚊又驚佢冇效, 白白浪費.

自己未用過但識人用Clearaudio之前嘅型號，聽講話個泵容易出事。
自己貪Audiodesk慳地方兼唔使自己動手，所以由第一代開始買到第四代總共買過四部。之前三部唔係壞泵就係壞摩打但都冇得拆殼整，所以基本上係全報銷。去到呢一代終於改成可拆殼維修，而且靜咗，洗出嚟嘅效果更上一層樓。
洗碟機除咗考慮洗出嚟嘅效果，仲應該要留意埋維修保養方面嘅問題。
