505供電電壓只有正負50V, 太低了想有幾好聲音，起碼都要507以上啦，最好用509

Good to know that you have gained much more than what you sacrificed. In fact, the sound should be more neutral when vibration is properly damped. It may be an illusion that sound was more sweet before the treament. However, you may still fine-tune the sound by trying spikes or small cubes of different materials [like ebony] under the speakers & also under cdp. Just 3 pcs under cdp & 4 pcs under each speaker.

I use floorstanders & there was booming before. After using 黑麻石 & Sanrubber plus TAOC 46PIN spikes under cdp, booming is greatly reduced. If you have not yet used them under cdp, it's worth to try.

weekend 終於有時間試清楚，用左黑麻石同sanrubber後，第一個感覺係個分析力好左，個層次感豐富左，聲音定位亦firm了，整體黎講係好了。而低音方面比以前實了，可能此終因為太近牆，都係有booming，但比之前已有改善。另一樣比之前唔同左既係，啲聲冇咁浮既同時，亦都冇之前咁甜...

Just curious to know how is the result of your using Sanrubber & 黑麻石.

Have you used the same under cdp? This should help to improve also.

The reward of sharing good personal experience in hifi tweaking at R33 is that webmates follow the suggestion with happy results.

Have suggested previously rebuilding speaker crossovers with certain brand of better capacitors & inductors. But someone here suspects that I recommend such brands for financial benefit. They take everyone as a suspect & just don't use their rusty brain. How much additional business can the vendor receive from DIY buyers as a result of such recommendation? This must be a peanut compared to their normal business volume. How will the vendor know that the buyer is recommended by me in order to grant me any reward if this exist at all? Well, just let such people enjoy their gears without improvement at minimum cost. BTW, when I tried recently to contact the capacitor vendor in HK for my preferred brand [good price/performance ratio], just learnt that they don't exist anymore. When I contacted the manufacturer in UK, they recommended me their agents in Taiwan, Singapore & even Indonesia. I'd rather then buy online from U.S. vendor which I dealt with before.

505u 我用了一星期 (二手買回來), 推 atc-scm 7, cdp 是 rega planet
1 用腳正好多.
2 最低限度底部要加墊或3粒象棋升高.
3 最好喇叭斜斜的擺位,有意外驚喜!
4 離牆都很重要.

用來睇電視兼煲煲佢.好聲!

cdp放最下，喇叭放腳架，拉前與後牆距離大些。
你要的效果應該立即感受到。

Yes, granite slab = 花岗岩板, also called "Ma sek" [pronounced in Cantonese]. Black color has the highest density & least vibration.

Highly recommend that you try this treatment under the speakers & also the cdp. It costs just a few hundred $ but improvement is big.
