Also worth noting that a slight degree of booming could create a relatively "warm" atmosphere. For instance , live jazz performances at a night club could be slightly "boomed" to produce a lovely and warm atmosphere.
As mentioned by many C-Hings here, a lot of other factors contribute to booming - the listening environment, the speakers position, less rigid speaker cabinet, mechanical vibration control, damping ability of amplifiers, cables etc... - it is more desirable to reduce booming to an acceptible level.

要留意的是,有d師兄成世人只聽過6"口徑喇叭仔既低頻,一旦聽到其他大口徑喇叭重播出喇叭仔出唔到既低音時,就當係boom.
