I have just finished another nice Jazz album, the Concord Jazz Super Audio CD Sampler, SACD-1032-6.

I particularly like the Carmen McRAE's "My Handy Man Ain't Handy No More" the live recording at Birdland West! From enjoying this recording, it reminded me the time when I was at school in Canada, the cost for live jazz is inexpensive in my school town, CAD 5.00 can spend an evening in a Jazz pub.

In most of the case, I can luckily pick the table right in front of the Jazz team. Although the sound is loud; the short distance allow me to see the facial expression and motion of the Jazz players clearly. In addition, it makes me feel I was being hugging by the Jazz music!

Play this track with a little bit volume up delivers a very good feeling as I was in the Jazz pub….a great performance and recording!

The other 12 tracks are very nice too!

In order to cool me down from the Concord Jazz Sampler, I play the Ray Brown & Laurindo Almeida's Moolight Serenade, BELL Records BLR 84-007.

I got this CD for 17 years, it was one of my major references CD for tuning my audio system, also the beautiful melodies for midnight!
