Starting her set at 1:30 a.m., Joan Baez was the closing act on the rainy first night of Woodstock, at the time, Baez's husband, David Harris, had recently been arrested for draft resistance and his incarceration is a prevailing theme throughout the show, Baez tells stories, at one point dedicating Joe Hill – a 1936 folk song about a trade union activist – as a tribute to Harris.

陳佳（英語：Teresa Chen Jia），中國女歌手，生於北京，是當代於音色和演譯近似鄧麗君的歌手之一。能以國語，粵語，日語，英語演唱，她精通鋼琴，也能作曲填詞。2013年，受鄧麗君的三哥鄧長富邀請簽約台灣鄧麗君文教基金會，並在此後參與了多場文化藝術、教育、音樂推廣活動。


鄧麗君在1979年2月因印尼假護照事件，不得不中斷在日本的演藝事業，這段期間她轉赴美國遊學。鄧麗君在1984年回到日本樂壇，〈つぐない〉就是她重新出發的作品，當時在日本樂壇最受歡迎的女歌手應屬中森明菜和松田聖子兩人。鄧麗君在與「日本寶麗多唱片」合約期滿未再續，兩年後她加盟新成立的「金牛座唱片 トーラスレコード」，〈つぐない〉就是專門為她量身打造的復出之作。つぐない在中文翻譯有贖罪或補償之意思，日文歌詞中透露出一個女子必須離開愛人的無奈，雖然說要離開對方是最好的補償方法，要對方去尋找更適合他的女孩子，但是私心裏卻又不想對方忘了自己，整首歌曲充滿矛盾、無奈卻又柔情似水的氛圍。中文版〈償還〉歌詞由大師林煌坤主筆操刀，但其演唱者的角色恰好與日文版顛倒，〈償還〉是在述說男方辜負了自己，若對方要是抱持着補償的心態來交往，她寧願對方去尋求新的感情。無論是〈つぐない〉或是〈償還〉，都是在訴說一名為情所苦，為情傷痕累累女子的心事，由鄧麗君那溫婉柔情的嗓音來詮釋，正是絕佳的不二人選。

Tichá noc is a Czech version of the popular and well-known Christmas carol, Silent Night, which was originally written in German. "Silent Night" (German: "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht") composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Joseph Mohr in Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria. It was declared an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2011. The song was first recorded in 1905 and has remained a popular success, appearing in films and multiple successful recordings, as well as being quoted in other musical compositions. It is one of the most recorded Christmas songs, with more than 137,000 known recordings.

Farewell, Angelina is an airy, transient yet painfully beautiful ballad written by Bob Dylan. It's a haunting song exploring themes of leaving, uncertainty, and the passage of time, and is often connected to his relationship with Joan Baez.

Joan Baez included this song on her 1965 album Farewell, Angelina. In the UK the song was issued at the same time as a single. Baez' version, though only about half as long as Dylan's recording, was very similar in structure and showed her moving away from pure folk music with the use of string bass accompaniment.

The "Koi Suru Fortune Cookie" music video was filmed on June 22, in Fukuoka, HKT48's home and where AKB48 member Mariko Shinoda is from. It involved 3,800 extras, the most for any AKB48 and sister group-related video since "Banzai Venus" which had about 1,000 people.

"A Night like This" is the second single by Caro Emerald, taken from the album Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor. It was released on 11 December 2009 in the Netherlands after it was first presented in an online Martini commercial on 16 October. Being released in 2010 in Europe, including the UK where it peaked at Number 65 in the UK Singles Chart. It was added to the 'A' list on BBC Radio One.

Writing and recording
The song was written by David Schreurs and Vince Degiorgio. Schreurs told HitQuarters he created the track for "A Night like This" while Degiorgio packed his bags to leave for his hometown Toronto, and then the two "sat down for an hour and knocked out the song". The lyrics are based on a specific scene in the 1967 Bond movie Casino Royale. "A Night Like This" was arranged by Schreurs and produced by Schreurs and Jan van Wieringen.

The song has been used in the sixth episode of season 3 of Pretty Little Liars, "Remains of the 'A'" and episode 16 of The Secret Circle, "Lucky". In season one of the TV series Go On, it was used as the opening theme in one of the episodes. The song has also been used in advertising campaigns for Martini, Wrigley, Nestlé amongst others.

In March 1965, DeShannon recorded Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "What the World Needs Now Is Love", which went to No. 7 on the US chart and No. 1 in Canada.
