- #26693 [fotheringay], 19-02-28 15:01JC and Shadow-green,
Excellent routine from you too and it should keep you both strong in physique but most importantly a healthy mind.
I am mostly doing video these days and so no way to compare you two in taking still pictures.
- #26692 [shadow-green], 19-02-27 16:57We do exercise purely for health and no more.
"Competition" is not in my dictionary.
Health, Family, Music, Photography are the keys. -
- #26691 [JCR33], 19-02-27 16:42Now I am the shortest and smallest male in the family, no exercise will give me the youth or energy to compete with anyone.
I think regular exercise is the remedy to most pain and aches. No painkillers work better. Moreover all the side effect of medicine is well documented.
Eating healthily, exercise regularly, sleep early and sometimes be a bit naughty is my things to do nowadays.
I was in London for 3 days last Oct and managed to walk 15km everyday. I was staying at Mayfair and walked to Tate Modern through the Millennium Bridge at St Paul's, up and down the building and back to the hotel in Mayfair. Almost 8 hours of walking with bag full of lens and camera. This is what exercise has enable me to do.
I hope I can continue to do travelling and walking/shooting. - #26690 [fotheringay], 19-02-27 15:59Oh!
I can see two potential World Mr. Muscle Man Champions sharing their trade secret.
Well done and keep going. - #26689 [shadow-green], 19-02-27 15:44That's very true.
I also suffer from aches and pain for almost two years. All gone now.
I will also have massage after gym. training to relax the muscles. :)
I will not say fit or not but my intention is just to keep healthy and delay the aging process as you said. That's very important.
I do most of the weight training for different part of the muscles but without taking any supplements. :)
最後修改時間: 2019-02-27 15:46:10 - #26688 [JCR33], 19-02-27 15:26Seems you are very fit now, good work. What other workout do you do?
Many in our age group suffer from aches and pain with back or joints are because of muscle loss.
Weight lifting is a must to keep those muscles going. - #26687 [shadow-green], 19-02-27 15:10JC
I also run in the treadmill 3-4 time a week for about 30-40 minutes for 4-6k depending on my condition.
The reason why I started gym. exercise twice a week is that I saw many aged male got serious muscles loss. At least I did what I could to delay the process. - #26686 [JCR33], 19-02-27 11:12Hi Patrick,
I know another guy using Raidho, I think it is the flagship model. Much better WAF, wife approval factor, I must say.
As for exercise, I have been going to the gym for a few years trying to keep the ageing process a bit less obvious. Of course, whilst we can't win the battle of getting old but at least we try. I do 4 km jogging in 30 mins and twice a week.
I still have my M9, SL and recently got traded in my M240 for the M10P.
In the last few years, I am doing a lot more travelling and taking heaps of photos.

I'm using Raidho D2.0 and it performs very good in my apartment and my wife is also happy with its looks and sound.
I have a new routine to go to gym. twice a week with a PT and the rest of the week will do running as much as possible. About 3-4 times a week. The result is very good and is more than I expected.
For photo shooting, M10 and SL and Fuji 50S. Fuji is the second brand impressed me after Leica. It's colour is very good.
What about you?
最後修改時間: 2019-02-27 10:45:04 - #26684 [JCR33], 19-02-27 04:23Leben,
Same, long time no see and how is work and new challenge?
Still do coffee? I think it has been a few years since we had the coffee gathering at John's. I still do coffee gathering whenever I am in HK. More and more people are into La Pavoni.
Interested to join next time?
Have you got any new hifi toys? New tubes? - #26683 [JCR33], 19-02-27 04:20Patrick,
It has been quite a long time since we I saw each other, hope it is all well.
You should be the youngest amongst the 3 of us, what exercise do you do?
I know you have moved to Kowloon for a few years but did not know you have parted with your Tannoy Canterbury. What do you have now, don't tell me you are using Devialet Phantoms! :-)
Still Leica or moved on to smartphone photo shooting? Got M10/P or new lenses? - #26682 [shadow-green], 19-02-26 17:59Leben
Nice to see you here again. Remember we talked about visiting your place but still no progress and I have moved out of Yuen Long already. I also departed with Tannoy for quite sometimes.
JC and Chi
Saw that you guys talking about midlife crisis. I'm now busy with doing more exercises to keep myself healthy. Hope this could help. - #26681 [fotheringay], 19-02-22 19:15JC,
"...midlife crisis is not affecting you a bit! :-)"
It does and sorry for the poor girls I work with! Ha, ha.....
I did think of getting a Chopper Bike But my CEO warmed me expecting a divorce. I've been told!!!
Congrats on your older son and hope he is enjoying his new phrase. Also, to your younger son and I wish he could go to his desired Uni.
My son is just starting his A Level so a long way to go. He exceeded his and our expectation in GCSE. He isn't particularly bright and ambitious in school, too laid back and lazy like me. Well, he got four 9(A* of old system) with Distinctions and four 7(B of old system).
I guess he is cleverer than I thought. That said A-Level is another game completely so I have to remind him constantly to work "harder".
As for new "hall" I can't wait!! - #26680 [JCR33], 19-02-22 17:07is now working...
- #26679 [JCR33], 19-02-22 15:54Chi,
Good to hear that you are well and midlife crisis is not affecting you a bit! :-)
Your boy should be in Uni or going soon? My youngest is having HSC this year and hopefully going to Uni next year.
My eldest is not working for over a year and the 2nd one is graduating this year.
I am kind of free to do my things and tidying my house is now my new challenge. The room will go through some transformation after living there for nearly 12 years. - #26678 [whlee], 19-02-22 10:54本星期六 23-2-2019 飲茶聚會

I am doing fine and still hoovering here in R33 though many disappear on a daily basic.
I am an in-betweener: never tired of working but tired of the working condition; can't afford retirement but change job and like semi-retirement.
What happened to your concert hall? - #26676 [JCR33], 19-02-22 03:59Chi,
How have you been?
Retired or tired of working?
