- #26 [funkyshits], 08-05-11 23:08Yes i agree with you. The female vocal is attractive. Dynamic music(band sound)performance in mid & high are clearly, crispy, wide and deep sound space. Gives you punches every hitting dumps in bass.
Although its connected with silver speaker cable.

The outlook of Quartet is much better than Trio.

謝謝!!! - #30 [豬豬豬仔包], 08-05-13 23:52早幾日在旺角"裕中心十六樓聽對書架兩萬多,聲好好好清,仲好幼細,尤其個低音反射孔好大,應該好爆得,夾膽機一定好正,覺得法國野有少釵美國喇叭,同樣清,音場闊,但係就易推好多,低音更加汗淨(可能易推關係,低音會少d,就汗淨d)

- #32 [IBMR51], 08-05-14 02:00I spent some time listening to the top Magellan bookshelves in Singapore dealer's room (owned by a friend of mine). Even though it is driven by the mono digital amp of Jeff Rowland, sound of the Magellan is very good - excellent texture, good higher frequency extension without edgy sounding. bass is there and tight, unlike the weak bass in JMLab's smallest micro.
One caveat may be that Triangle may be less sensitive than JMLab and may need more power to drive. But they are in means as difficult to drive as ATC or B&W805S!
I have to say that it is the best buy in their size! (I however have not auditioned the new Monitor Audio (the one with ribbon highs)). The new MA may perform as well! - #33 [free2wong2005.3], 08-05-14 10:04豬豬豬仔包兄

I try the Quartet in a friend's home.
I attach with a silver speaker cable but the mid range is unacceptable
So i cchange a copper speaker cable is much better now
