Sincere apology. - #7 [fotheringay], 19-11-18 22:08If you are too picky and do a lot of walking and you may go round those charity shops.
Some of them will carry stock of vinyl, if not all of them. This is good especially when you just want to browse.
Many years back I found a first pressing of Columbia SAX Steeo with Kogan. It may not happen these days but you never know. -

btw you don’t need to carry actual passport for VAT-refund shopping in UK, just show a phone photo of passport will suffice.

- #4 [嚦嚦二世], 19-11-18 09:13Vinyl scene in London is quite different from the one in HK. While most vinyl buyers here are middle-aged “audiophile” focusing on classical, jazz & maybe Canto artists; majority of buyers in London are young hip types who’re buying vinyl because it’s retro cool, so although there are perhaps a couple of dozens 2nd hand vinyl shops in (& around) London, they spread across a wide music spectrum including rock, pop, soul, hip-hop, dance, reggae, punk, electronics, techno, world, etc.
For classical & jazz, you could take a look at Classical Music Exchange in Notting Hill Gate & nearby Honest Jon’s on Portobello Road. Flashback Records in Islington also worth checking out.
Alternatively you can just pop into Fopp right between Covent Garden & China Town, it’s a large record shop carrying a wide selection of jazz re-issues under £20, you can claim VAT refund on new records also.
