家居環境空間所限制 ，用Zoom H6 recorder with 單一支shotgun ，是很困難capture ambient sound: weakened melody & rhythm 。但再加上2 支condenser mic。自己感覺出來效果還可以接受。

Shortgun 放在2個喇叭中心位置，高度大約80cm。
Shortgun同2支condenser mic parallel 。
2支condenser mic放置於左右喇叭距離正前方大約25cm ，而高度大約77cm

Now back to just using the Zoom H4e X-Y Mic to record this "The Cutter".

It was recorded with H4e 32-Bit Float and it is suggested that it could cover much more headroom than my previous H5n.

This is a reworked version as I extend the song with twice the original length as I really love this song.

It's so full of energy as the weather in the UK is literally miserable and I need something to life me up!!!!

Saw that Echo and the Bunnymen appearing on dlld's video and I just said "Ah....................."

So many good Post-Punk bands back in those days.

Today would have been his 79th Birthday though he left us on 16th Jan 2016, 8 days shy of 10 years.

I do miss him.

The other night Channel 4 showed "Bowie: The Final Act". The show literally summed up Bowie's life from the start to end.

After years of using the ZOOM H5 I have now changed to the H4 Essential which has a 32 Bits Float.

When I used the H5 I mainly used the SSH-6 Shotgun because it was a "Decca Tree" config 3-point Mic. It allowed me to configure the coverage of the side-mics. It also allowed me to add extra 2 mics so basically it allowed 5-mic recording.

Now I am going back to just a single recorder with the x-y mic. It seems I have lost all the flexibility but what I gain is a simple setup and a 32 Bits Float which gives me more headroom. With the raw recording I am able to edit the music with Audacity.
