I am using Audio Suite & Performance II. 201 Mark II card has better resolution, tigher bass, dynamic and better definition than Mark I. Mark I card is richer and fuller in mid-range.

Used Reference DAC. Very good machine,

What you mean mark II p201 card (all green card or small green card)?

I had a experience the all green card model is more rich and full body of sound than small green card model.

I'm using Cello Encore + Performance I + Avalon Avator.
I'm now considering to change Westlake speaker.
Any comment?

Don't know why, I auditioned BBSM-8VNF for 5 minutes with Cello power amp + Mark pre, the result is bad. Low freq. was blur and high freq. extension was not good. But I know that the system only run for 5 mins before test.

Do you guys have similar experience?

All green 201 card is the Mk II version come straight from the manufacturer, and out-performed the one with small green card which is an upgrad from Mk I. But the difference is not obvious and can only been noticed during A/B test.

Mk I card sounds richer and fuller only in "MID-RANGE".

I totally agree with you the small green card version give you better high and transparency. It is because the ASR-3 power supply card (so-call small green card). But sometime I like the sound reproduce by the ASR-2 power supply card (so-call mark I version), it is very smooth/full of body and very musical.

Why not you don't upgraded your p301 to a mark II version?

The picture should be a ASR-3 power supply card. It will be appear on a so-call mk II or mk III Cello's input module. The picture you show should be a mk III p201 (all green card version) and it is a latest version and very rare item.

I bought my suite brand new from the local dealer during the Mk. I and Mk. II transition period. So, I got the P201 with the samll green card and the P301 Mk. II. Anyway very happy with the suite I have, and don't want any more upgrading. Actually the local dealer Forthwise still offers further upgrade of the power supply cheap for the P201 Mk. II but expensively at $6,000. Haven't audition such further upgrade.

Frankly, to me no other sysem can offer the kind of sound produced by Cello, except Goldmund.

How about your Master Supply? Did you got a latest green version also? What is the serial number on it?
