I use Bi amp for my ET LT8. A 6B4 tube amp for the mid/tweeter panle ( ＞ 180Hz ), A EQ + NAD amp for the bass ( ＜180Hz ). The bass in my retangular shape room is terrible,but much smoother after EQ adjustment, using the HUGO CD sampler as a reference. Now I can't leave without the EQ.
You van buy cheap EQ in the pro-PA shop. Mine is brand dBx, 31 bands x 2, less than HKD 2000.

I am not talking about the psychological term of EQ....
I still remember in 1980 - 89....I owmed a Kenwood EQ & a Sherwood EQ....
I like to tuen all EQ like a " V " shape.
upgrade all bass & treble ...and the mid remains unchange & balanced...
All my EQ was thrown away by my bad father .
I just wonder :
1. Does anyone still play EQ nowadays ?
2. Where can we buy EQ now in HK ?
3. I want to see some EQ pics, but I dont know how to post here ? anyone could help ?
