Sometimes you're better off dead
There's gun in your hand and it's pointing at your head
You think you're mad, too unstable
Kicking in chairs and knocking down tables
In a restaurant in a West End town
Call the police, there's a madman around
Running down underground to a dive bar
In a West End town
In a West End town, a dead end world
The East End boys and West End girls
In a West End town, a dead end world
The East End boys and West End girls
West End girls
Too many shadows, whispering voices
Faces on posters, too many choices
If, when, why, what?
How much have you got?
Have you got it, do you get it, if so, how often?
And which do you choose, a hard or soft option?
(How much do you need?)
In a West End town, a dead end world
The East End boys and West End girls
In a West End town, a dead end world
The East End boys and West End girls
West End girls
West End girls
(How much do you need?)
In a West End town, a dead end world
The East End boys and West End girls
Oooh West End town, a dead end world
East End boys, West End Girls
West End girls
You've got a heart of glass or a heart of stone
Just you wait 'til I get you home
We've got no future, we've got no past
Here today, built to last
In every city, in every nation
From Lake Geneva to the Finland station
(How far have you been?)
In a West End town, a dead end world
The East End boys and West End girls
A West End town, a dead end world
East End Boys, West End girls
West End girls
West End girls
West End girls
(How far have you been?)
Girls
East End boys
And West End girls
And West End girls
(... forever)
And West End girls
(How far have you been?)
East End boys
The West End girls
The West End boys
And West End girls
The West End girls
The West End boys

The one I am using is like this one, but in black colour. I saw NMC a month ago before moving my house, which was a nightmare. Now I still only tidied 75% of my house but work pressure is high. NMC took his Monitor Audio away, with my Sonus Faber speaker stands. He is playing with the stands! I hoped to play vinyls but no time to do the setup.... I haven't asked u one question - are most vinyls yr collection during yr teenager years? Very impressive. Did you have a vinyl cleaning machine?
Regarding music, i tried to make my life as simple as ever. As I always told NMC, I just want music, not hifi~ :)I guess I am approaching that.
One thing about 80s music is many original vinyls seem to sound better than CDs (especially those SINGLES), not because of the materials (we all should know vinyls have less dynamic range, technically) but because of mixing (many CDs are compressed, worse than vinyls, sadly and foolishly). Format could mean nothing about quality of sound. The irony is of course it's difficult to find vintage vinyls in good condition here.

I'm also an 80's junkie. :-)

I am doing OK. I shouldn't be surprised to have seen you here ^_^ I have been talking to NMC and his co in his thread and hoping that you'll jump in. Have you made any contact with him recently?
You know I am always a vinyl person so there is no need to show my ground. Apart from listening to my LP's in my room I also convert them into digital format so that I can listen through my computer and ipod. It's a basic machine and it provides WAV and 3 other MP3 compressions(128, 196 and 256). Since my source is still vinyl so I don't think I will do full monty with the latest higher bit converter.
Which ProAc Studio do you have now? I used to have a pair of Studio 200 but I sold them now and just enjoying my old Tannoy.
Since we talk about Kraftwerk I think we shouldn't miss out one of the pioneers of Krautrock, CAN.
