A rare pair of vintage Philips tube power amplifiers of the 1960's from the Netherlands.
Each unit works on 220 volt mains, with 2 x EL84, 1 x ECC83 & 1 x EZ81, producing about 10 watt at 7 and 14 ohm output impedance. At present, they are wired for 14 ohm output to drive LS35A. Also, please note the world renowned double C core output transformer 雙C 輸出牛 made by Philips.
The EL84 and ECC83 are Philips Miniwatt while the two EZ81 are Mullard. All tubes, total 8 tubes, are included in this sale.
Both units have been thoroughly overhauled with quality spare parts to restore their former brilliance and top-notch audio performance. Also, both units have been modified to accept IEC power cable, RCA interconnect cable, and banana speaker Jack's. An on/off switch was also installed.
Further, there are lots of info about this amplifier on the Internet. Schematic and manual of assembly or operation are readily obtainable there.
To be collected in Kowloon City after a brief audition, serious audiophiles only.
