Up for sale is a collector item Mullard 44 of the 1960's UK.
This particular version is affiliated to RS- Radiospares UK back in the 1960's.
This unit is from amongst my collection. It has undergone a thorough overhaul in order to restore it's former brilliance. Currently, it is driving a pair of Harbeth LS5/12A with applauding audio performance although it's max output as a single-ended tube amp is around 4 watt. That is why it is named 4+4.
It is in perfect working order and cosmetic condition, and, there is no "hum" noice. The background is dead quiet.
The tube composition is 1 x EZ81, 2 x EL84 and 2 x EF86. Tubes of generic brand will be included in the sale (Mullard or TFK tubes can be supplied at additional cost).
An audition session is to be arranged for prospective buyers prior to collection.
