- #23 [lofish], 13-09-25 12:00where did you do the manatee, 3 sisters spring?
-
- #24 [cadiver], 13-09-25 13:34Correct, 3-sister and the surrounding area. The picture below with the young lady was shot inside the 3-sisters spring, almost at the far end. Water was particular warmer inside this spring as they came from underneath. Have you visit there too?
- #25 [lofish], 13-09-25 14:01plan to do it next February. what about blue heron bridge, did u do it?
- #26 [cadiver], 13-09-25 14:16May I ask where you live ? Making a trip to blue heron is as much effort as to head down to key largo for me, so I go key largo instead the last few year. I had not done blue heron and really not that attractive when you are diving right below the major yatch channel but it does offer quite diverse life.
- #27 [lofish], 13-09-25 14:30vancouver, I like muck diving. just did bali and lembeh earlier this year. Will do Moalboal and Malapascua in Nov.
- #28 [cadiver], 13-09-25 14:51If you live in YVR, I definitely suggest you fly to Miami and drive to key largo (1.5 hr), you can easily do 4 dives a day, 2 trips, all boat dive, morning dive from 8am, afternoon dive from 1pm. Miami to crystal spring is about 7 hrs drive. Much worth than blue heron unless you already done key largo or for whatever reason doesn't like it. Cheers!
- #29 [lofish], 13-09-25 15:05thanks, something to think about if we decide to do manatee.
- #30 [cadiver], 13-09-25 23:08By the way, manatee visit is not scuba, it's only snorkeling, But the are very playful especially the young pup, They roll over to show the belly and ask you to scratch the area behind the fin.

- #40 [CADiver], 13-10-07 02:17Metridium, one of the most difficult thing to photograph in my opinion that does not move! - Monterey, D80.
For those who hasn't seen a metridium, the one in this picture, they are about 4 feet tall. The top can retract into the body when alerted and became like a tube. They are soft like balloon fill with water. They are cold water animal & I believe that lives mostly in the pacific north west in North America - 下一頁 (2 of 14)
