Another vote for Living Voice OBX-R2. Need about 20watts ideally though. About 90db efficiency.

Yes mine is OBX-R2 with the external crossovers. With bi-wire it needs a lot of speaker cables to get it going :)

Frankly speaking the girl is not too bad, off topic ^1^ BTW, did your Living Voice use external X over, I saw some LV use this.

Yes that gal sure cheapened the speakers.

Those speakers look a lot like the Odeon speakers which sounded quite lively the last I heard it.

But all and all I prefer more "traditional" designs like my Living Voice, these speakers are just so musical.

U R welcomed! This Italian speaker Zingali is also exciting. I guess it has once appeared in HK cos a LP shop in MK is still using their speaker. The company is famous in their Omniray horn. They launched the new Zero series. Don't let the Chinese model distort the impression of their speaker! The factory visit report of Zingali:

Myers thanks for the info. I have seen Art Emotion various times mentioned positively in the naim forum. But never knew that it was made by the Dunlop brothers. Dunlop Systemdek holds a special place in my heart as the Systemdek IIX and the Naim Nait 2 was what brought me into this addiction in the first place. That was a long time ago!

And incidentally the HK ex-distributior also distributes Living Voice and Kondo. Small world.

If they don't carry it any longer, write directly to the producer to see is there any special offer if you buy from them. The GBP is a bit weak currently with around GBP1 = HK$12.34, together with a 17.5% discount for export to HK. I'm quite confident that it will sound great driven by the Verdier's 845.

I'm also interested to see how the T & F Pharoah sounds cos last time the showroom is busy to prepare for the White Swan Hotel Show in Guangzhou.

Myers1 hing, do you know if the ART Emotion is available in HK. I want to have a listen.

Also, fully agree with Apprentice hing that Trenner & Friedl's RA Box is an exceptionally natural sounding speaker. I think it got a little brother and it has a smaller cabinet that shoudl fit HK's typical homes. I'll go to find out if it sounds as good as the RA Box hopefully next week.

My friend used a J C Verdier 2A3 power amp to drive Tannoy's Sandringham with good results, the Sandringham is 90 db at 8 ohm.
