dlld,
This song is called "The Tide is Turning". The only song not from the original album "The Wall".
It was recorded in Roger Waters second solo album "Radio K.A.O.S.".
"The Tide Is Turning (After Live Aid)" as its full title and quite a story.
Though Waters had offered his services for the Live Aid concert in 1985 and was turned down by organizer Bob Geldof, the event still inspired Waters to write this song. You can say it's kind of sour grape.
Pink Floyd did perform for the Live 8 in 2005 and I was lucky to be there.
At that time Richard Wright(Pink Floyd Keyboard player) was already diagnosed with cancer and it was his last wish to perform in Glastonbury Festival. Once again they were rejected by Michael Eavis, Glaston founder, because they were fully booked !!!!
Richard Wright died a year later.
Stupid Eavis!!!! - #19059 [dlld], 16-04-12 00:16Chi,

This is my first time hearing "講嘢" and loving the political agenda behind, and of course wonderful singing.
This couldn't be more political.

Love this live performance and this song was without a doubt an Anthem of the 90's.
Now I'm relieved to hear
That you've been to some far out places
It's hard to carry on
When you feel all alone
Now I've swung back down again
It's worse than it was before
If I hadn't seen such riches
I could live with being poor
Oh sit down
Sit down next to me
Sit down, down, down, down, down
In sympathy
Those who feel the breath of sadness
Sit down next to me
Those who find they're touched by madness
Sit down next to me
Those who find themselves ridiculous
Sit down next to me
Love, in fear, in hate, in tears
Down
Down
Oh sit down
Sit down next to me
Sit down, down, down, down, down
In sympathy - #19055 [dlld], 16-04-11 23:42

I was quite excited to see Michael Stipe new look when performing in the David Bowie Tribute Concert.
He is always different.
Dig out some old records. - #19053 [fotheringay], 16-04-11 23:35
Tidy up some records and just realised that I love them very much in the 90's.

Tiger,
PM received.
In order to avoid unnecessary debate with regards to "original" or "clone" LS3/5a I think I post here.
I have a Falcon Acoustic 9L Box when they advocated a "Bigger Box" design back in the 80's. I used a pair of 1974's B110/SP1003 and a pair of 1975 T27/SP1032.
My friend bought his 1990's KEF LS3/5a to my place and we have a comparison.
To my surprise he preferred my DIY Falcon Acoustics!!! Now that's a shocking outcome!!
Since then I also acquired a pair of Rogers 11OHMS.
