It 's such a experience of what the musical flow from a speaker which was driven by 2500W per channel on yesterday's evening.
What means about the saying of transparency would be source depending.
Don't blame on the CD drive,it is a alternative.
The original is under upgrade.
Once finish the upgrade of the drive, would invite you again for your master's review. - #4714 [Condefly2], 07-09-23 22:41If you don't mind, let us bring drink and snack (not neccesary wine and cheese) to join your party.

Dennis,
A Yellow label 鐵餅 will be much appreciated :-)
Be honest I'm still prospecting with different pre / power amps for the King due to the inconsistency impedance, I'm looking forward for the double deck VTL mono-block arrive sometime this week.
I had borrow a pair of Mod Quad 909 and a ModSquad Deluxe Line Drive from Yoda which giving me a new experience for the King as what you guys using(passive preamp) for your ESL.
Dennis, you will be at the top priority on my invitation list once the King is ready. - #4713 [limage], 07-09-23 18:54
CP,
I’ve got the CD as well. Two things you may care to note:-
1. The CD is way below the vinyl in terms of sonic quality.
2. It is emphatically not the gut thumpers that have caught me, but the languishing string passages that have me carried away. Simply delicious. - #4712 [j_l], 07-09-23 18:16Honwo
Terribly sorry missing you this time. When will you come back to HK again?
JL - #4711 [cpsjj], 07-09-23 11:08
limage,
These are the best 3 recordings of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet that you can get. Salonen's with the BPO is quickly becoming the new reference but I still like Maazel's most for his more pungent touch. - #4710 [kris], 07-09-23 10:53
Morning Gentlemen,
Condefly2: Congratulation on all your new toys! Please put my name down for your October grand opening.
hifienthusiast: Hon, it was a great pleasure meeting you. All the best in UK!
ps: I love this thing..... - #4709 [Gingers], 07-09-23 08:24

CP,
You are absolutely right. I shouldn't miss Maazel by all means, Cultural Centre and all.
Let's organize a bit and see how many buddies would be going too.
Maazel and his legendary recording:- - #4707 [cpsjj], 07-09-22 21:36
Lorin Maazel is coming to HK with the New York Phil in February next year for the HK Arts Festival. Unfortunately they will be again playing in the Cultural Centre.
Limage, despite you vowed that you are not going back to the Cultural Centre, I think you have to do it once again for Maazel. He will be playing with the NYPO Dvorak Sym #7, Mendelssohn Sym #4 and Brahms Sym #4, together with the Elgar cello concerto.
The last time he came was with the Cleveland playing in the City Hall. That was the most beautiful Dvorak #8 I have heard live or on records despite the laughable and unforgiveable mistake made by the oboe in the 2nd movement. That was many years ago! - #4706 [dkyyu], 07-09-22 17:19Dear Conde and Yoda,
How are you doing? You have changed so many good items and I see you have made some room to accomdate some top-end DAC/CD transport and now leaving me behind alone (hope Dr KH hasn't changed his mine yet).
If you don't mind, let us bring drink and snack (not neccesary wine and cheese) to join your party.
